A memorial stone was laid in the Kursk region to the Hero of Russia Marat Tibilov cadet corps.
The head of the Russian Guard Viktor Zolotov and acting governor Alexander Khinshtein took part in the laying of the memorial stone.
The institution with a total area of over 60 thousand square meters will include an educational building for 350 students, two residential buildings and a sports building.
From the first days of the special operation, Marat Tibilov carried out combat missions in Zaporozhye, the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, as well as in Kursk Oblast.
