Anatoly Bibilov is on a three-day working visit to the Artsakh Republic.
President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov, accompanied by the Artsakh Republic Minister of Foreign Affairs Masis Mailyan, laid a wreath at the memorial complex in Stepanakert and flowers at the graves of the Artsakh’s defenders, the presidential press service reports.
The memorial complex includes a chapel dedicated to the victims of the genocide of the Armenian people and the victims of the earthquake. Together with the South Ossetian delegation, the delegation of the Republic of Abkhazia, led by Foreign Minister Daur Kove, took part in the ceremony.
The visit of the head of the South Ossetian state to Artsakh will last three days.
During the visit, talks will be held with President of the Republic of Armenia Bako Sahakyan. It is also planned to visit the industrial enterprises of the Artsakh Republic, cultural and historical sites.
In addition, the delegation of South Ossetia will take part in the opening ceremony of the European Football Championship ConIFA - 2019 and will attend the match with the South Ossetian team.
