The head of the first Russian-Ossetian Forum, Deputy Chairperson of the Committee on Youth Policy, Sport and Tourism, Valentina Gatikoeva thanked all the participants of the Forum, noting that their arrival in the Republic is a manifestation of great respect for the people of South Ossetia.
“These days will be fruitful, I`ve already known that a start will be given to new projects and many ideas will be implemented together,” she noted.
The head of the delegation of the Lugansk People’s Republic, Roman Oleksin, has expressed confidence that the LPR and South Ossetia will develop cooperation in the fields of youth policy, sports, culture and tourism.
“Thanks to the organizers of the Forum for creating a platform for working in the field of youth policy, exchange of experience, new acquaintances. We came to South Ossetia on a mission to establish and continue mutual cooperation. I am confident that we will be able to conclude an agreement in order to interact in the youth sphere. Thank you for the opportunity to visit this beautiful land, plunge into history, culture of South Ossetia,” he said.
The head of the Russian delegation, curator of the federal project “National League of Student Clubs” Nikita Chekrygin has noted that in 2020 a separate media platform will be organized at the same Forum to tell more about the forum, beauty and culture of South Ossetia.
Chekrygin has emphasized that in South Ossetia there are very talented and capable young people and they will be given the opportunity to cooperate with the All-Russian Public movement "Victory Volunteers" and "Rescuers".
“We, for example, have representatives of the All-Russian Public Movement "Victory Volunteers", which are engaged in popularization of patriotic education. As you know, next year will be 75 years since the victory in the Great Patriotic War and within this organization there is an international youth volunteer program, in which 35 countries are already taking part. One of our proposals for South Ossetia is to join this program. We have representatives of another youth movement “Rescuers”, which are now based in Vladikavkaz. Representatives of your Republic will also be invited to participate there,” he said.
Representative of the Ministry of Youth of Sports and Tourism of the Donetsk People's Republic, Victor Orekhov, thanked the leadership of South Ossetia for their hospitality, noting that the DPR will be working more closely with South Ossetia.
