A briefing for journalists with participants of the first Russian-Ossetian Youth Forum was held in Tskhinval.
The guests of the Republic, sharing their impressions, have noted that in South Ossetia there is a beautiful nature, a rich history and hospitable, welcoming people.
A member of the youth policy committee of the Republic of Abkhazia, Vladimir Jojua, says that he is feeling as at home in fraternal South Ossetia.
“There is very beautiful, fascinating nature in South Ossetia. We are fraternal peoples, just located on the other side of the mountains. Everything is beautiful here, closer to the sky. Beautiful scenery, water, mountains ... The most remembered are ancient towers, when you are there you are mentally transferred into the depths of history. Being in South Ossetia, you understand that there is a century -old history here. Emotions and impressions cannot be expressed in words, one must be a writer or a poet to describe the beauty of the Republic,” he noted.
The head of the Russian delegation, Nikita Chekrygin, shared his impressions of the perceived unity of the people of South Ossetia, where the population of the Republic is always ready to help each other.
“I`ve immediately paid attention to how on any street, in any house, municipal institution is felt the unity of the people. When representatives of South Ossetia’s volunteers accompany us, they greet everyone, and the thought creeps in my head –how people of South Ossetia are not tired every day to greet each other by hand. This is very important and valuable when every person in the city knows each other, helps, is sincerely happy to meet and is ready to help,” he said.
The participants of the Form also spoke about the plans for further cooperation with South Ossetia and shared their impressions of the Forum.
It should be noted that for the first time young people from Russia, Lugansk and Donetsk People's Republics, Transnistria, Abkhazia, Nagorno-Karabakh, South and North Ossetia gathered together in Tskhinval.
For four days, young people will be participating in seminars, round tables, master classes, sports games and just chat.
The main objective of the Forum is to create a unified field of communication and interaction among the youth of these countries.
