Russian Ministry of Defense plans to spend 287.9 ​​million rubles to service its military camps in South Ossetia, according to materials on the government procurement portal.

" The Defense Ministry of the Russian Federation ... announces a closed auction for the provision of services for organizing and conducting complex maintenance of the barracks and housing stock of military camps of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation located in the Republic of South Ossetia in 2019-2020," the documents said.

The contractor is scheduled to be determined on October 9th.

The 4th United Russian military base is located in South Ossetia; it`s task is to protect the sovereignty and security of Russia and the Republic.

Ministry of Defense of Russia plans to spend 195 million rubles on servicing military towns on the territory of Abkhazia, follows from materials on the government procurement portal.

In accordance with the interstate agreements, the 7th military base of the Russian Federation is located in Abkhazia.
