Representatives from South Ossetia took part in the All-Russian youth educational Forum "Tavrida" 2020 in Crimea. As one of the participants, Sarmat Kotaev, told the IA "Res", the Forum lasted six days; four people from South Ossetia took part in it.

According to him,"Tavrida" is an opportunity for young cultural workers to learn more about their profession, improve their knowledge, and make new acquaintances.

“On the first day after arriving in Moscow, we were late, so we did not have time for the opening. In Moscow, we were given an excursion. We were received very warmly. I would like to thank all the organizers for their friendly attitude and responsiveness,” he said.

According to Kotaev, representatives from different countries of the world took part in the Forum.

"We managed to get to know someone. It was a great joy and surprise for us to meet our Abkhaz brothers, there were also 4 people from Abkhazia. From the first day we found a common language, became friends, probably because we are united by a common struggle for freedom and independence of our countries. ", - he said.

According to Sarmat, the Forum program was rich and varied, master classes and trainings were held.

“I remembered that at the end of the Forum, fraternal Abkhazia and I performed on the main stage of Tavrida, where we showed our best side. We demonstrated our dances, customs, culture, ethnos, the audience was pleased,” he has emphasized.

Kotaev has also noted that the meetings at the Forum were different, but the most significant for him was the communication with the chief director of the Vakhtangov Theater Yuri Butusov.

Participants from South Ossetia are returning home on Saturday.
