Singer from South Ossetia Marta Kharebova, performing under the creative pseudonym "MARSALANA", won the Grand Prix and first place in the international online competition "Eastern Fairy Tale" in the Republic of Tatarstan.
As the vocalist has told IA "Res", the competition was held in January in Kazan.
According to Kharebova, the Krasnodar Institute of Culture, of which she is a graduate, sent her to the competition. "There are strong vocalists at the Institute of Culture, it's nice that they paid attention to me."
“I took part in the competition in two nominations, I got the Grand Prix in pop vocal, and won first place in jazz vocal. The competition was supported by the Elena Obraztsova International Academy of Music,” Marta noted.
The singer shared that following the results of the competition, as a winner, she will be able to take part in the international competition in Italian San Remo.
More than a thousand people from 20 regions of Russia and the State of Israel took part in the competition in Kazan.
Marta is the winner of the Grand Prix at the RUSSIAN BEAUTY 2019 Festival of Beauty, Fashion and Talent in the Best Talent of Russia nomination. In her piggy bank the Grand Prix of the international vocal competition "Zarag" in the nomination "pop-jazz vocal". Marta is also a participant in the TV project "New Star - 2020". This year "MARSALANA" became the seventh according to the voting results of the All-Russian vocal competition "Sing in the Soul", organized by GUTSERIEV MEDIA.
Marta Kharebova is also graduating from the South Ossetian State University this year. The young talent is also the head of the youth wing of the Union of Russian Citizens in South Ossetia.
