Servicemen of the Russian FSB Border Guard Service in South Ossetia, while patrolling the area, found a grenade in Znaur district of the Republic, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of South Ossetia told the "Res," news agency.
"A dangerous find was found between the villages of Ioncha, Ziulet and Khabalatykau. The capsule of the F-1 grenade was in a combat state," the Emergencies Ministry noted.
Sappers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations immediately arrived at the scene and examined the nearby territory, the find was taken to a safe place for subsequent destruction.
