The film "Survive Cannot Perish" which tells about the events of August 2008 in South Ossetia, was included in the competition program of the international festival of Orthodox cinema "Golden Knight". As the director of the film Angelina Tsalikova-Bitarova told IA "Res", the film was included in the program of "full-length feature films", the festival itself will be held from May 22.
“Our film was included in the competition program for full-length films, application for participation was submitted by ourselves. The films will be assessed by an expert jury, according to the results, the information will be posted on the website, if the film becomes a prize-winner of the festival, we will be invited to Sevastopol to close the forum,” said the director.
The film "Survive Cannot Perish" was shot in the "drama" genre in the summer of 2019. According to the plot, the main character - a young man Alan – is living and working in Moscow, is happily married, but the war forces him to abandon a successful life in the capital and defend his Motherland.
The director of the film is Angelina Tsalikova-Bitarova, the script was written by Konstantin Bitarov.
