President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov will visit the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, the press service of the head of state reports.
"The head of the South Ossetian state will take part in festive events dedicated to the Day of the Donetsk People's Republic on May 11 and the Day of the Lugansk People's Republic on May 12," the press service said.
It was noted that within the framework of the visit, the meetings with the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin and the head of the LPR Leonid Pasechnik will also take place.
South Ossetia in 2014 recognized the independence of the DPR and the LPR. Diplomatic relations have been established between Tskhinval and the republics. In Donetsk and Lugansk there are representations of South Ossetia, in Tskhinval - representations of the DPR and the LPR.
