President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov awarded the Order of Friendship to the Head of the RATM-holding Eduard Taran for his help in the fight against coronavirus, the press service of the South Ossetian Уmbassy in Moscow reports.
"For his great personal contribution to the development and strengthening of friendly relations between peoples, assistance and support provided to the Republic of South Ossetia in the fight against the spread of the new coronavirus infection COVID-19, award the Order of Friendship to Taran Eduard Anatolyevich," the presidential decree says.
The presentation of the state award took place at the RSO Embassy in the Russian Federation. Anatoly Bibilov expressed gratitude to Eduard Taran for the lives saved. “Eduard Anatolyevich, the step you have taken is very important for people of South Ossetia. Thanks to your assistance, the issue of timely meeting the needs of medical institutions of the Republic for medical oxygen has been fully resolved. Thank you very much,” the President noted.
Taran thanked Anatoly Biblov for this honor and wished the people of South Ossetia health and prosperity.
Valery Guguchkin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC "Ekran-Optical Systems", was also awarded the Honorary Diploma of the President for the assistance and support provided to the Republic of South Ossetia in the fight against the spread of the new coronavirus infection COVID-19.
Ambassador of South Ossetia to Russia Znaur Gassiev took part in the award ceremony.
It should be reminded that as part of the humanitarian action, Eduard Taran sent an oxygen station to South Ossetia in May 2021, designed to produce medical oxygen in the amount of 200 liters per minute.
