In South Ossetia, there is an increase in cases of coronavirus, which is likely to be increasing, said the head of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee Marina Kochieva in a comment to the IA "Res ".

The day before, another 15 residents of the Republic were diagnosed with coronavirus, the day before - 13. In the PCR laboratory of the department, 99 tests for coronavirus infection were carried out in a day.

"The total number of detected cases of COVID-19 in the Republic has reached 3430. Five people have been removed from the register in a day, the total number of the recovered today is 3364. 66 people remain under medical supervision," Kochieva said.

Due to the fact that there is an increase in the incidence in the Republic and in order to prevent the spread and complication of the epidemiological situation, Marina Kochieva draws the attention of all citizens and entrepreneurs that, in pursuance of the decision of the operational headquarters of February 10, 2021, it is necessary to adhere to the recommendations.

"The Committee reminds all citizens of the Republic of the need to comply with the mask and disinfection regime, maintain a distance, refrain from visiting crowded places," said the chief sanitary doctor.

From the next week, specialists of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee will carry out raiding activities and in case of violations of the recommendations, responsibility will be assigned to the managers of the facilities.

“A lot depends on each of us, given the situation in which we are now. Restrictions will be introduced depending on the situation, but so that they are not tough, all the previously indicated instructions and recommendations must be strictly followed.

“We earnestly demand that all this be done. I again recommend everyone to get vaccinated for the safety of their health and the health of others, I ask everyone to approach this issue responsibly,” she said.

In total, during the coronavirus pandemic since 2020, 23 795 tests have been carried out in the PCR laboratory of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee.
