South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee reported on new data on coronavirus disease recorded over the weekend.
As reported to the IA "Res" on Monday, by the head of. the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee Marina Kochieva, according to the results of the tests carried out on Friday evening, from 60 samples, 13 showed a positive result.
"To date, 68 people remain under the supervision of doctors," Kochieva said.
The number of people infected since the beginning of the pandemic is 3351, 3383 people have recovered. In total, during the pandemic in South Ossetia, 23,913 tests were carried out for coronavirus infection.
The head of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee. appealed to the residents of the Republic with a recommendation to be vaccinated against coronavirus.
"We recommend to get vaccinated for those who have not yet been ill, since one cannot relax," she said.
It should be noted that since the early May, the population is being vaccinated against the coronavirus by the Russian Sputnik V free of charge.
