During the meeting, the Health Minister of South Ossetia Soslan Naniev and President of the Fund for the Injured Disabled During the hostilities in the Republic from 1989 to 2008, discussed issues of replacing prostheses and sanitary-resort treatment for disabled persons. This was reported to IA "Res" by the head of the Fund Madina Plieva.

According to her, the Fund has included the guys who were injured and maimed, defending the independence and sovereignty of the Republic of South Ossetia. “The state provides them with great help. President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov always supports us, every proposal addressed to the head of state finds a positive solution. It was with his support that prostheses were changed for disabled people several times. And this is a huge help to the guys who became disabled while defending our Motherland. After all, many people with disabilities need to change or repair prostheses after a certain time, and this cost a lot of money,” said Plieva.,

The head of the Fund noted the constant attention of the Ministry of Health and Social Development to the guys who became disabled during the hostilities. “Ministry of Health of South Ossetia constantly provides assistance to our guys in all matters related to treatment, rehabilitation, recreation, etc. Every year, the guys from the Fund, through the Ministry of Health, go on vacation and sanatorium - resort treatment. We discussed all these issues with Soslan Naniev. He listened to me attentively and said that he would study all our proposals,” said the head of the Fund.

Madina Plieva has reminded that last year, due to the spread of coronavirus infection, which made adjustments to all spheres of life in all countries of the world, including South Ossetia, and the imposed restrictive measures, they were unable to send the guys.

“This year, the coronavirus is gaining momentum again and it is not yet known how the epidemiological situation will be developing both in our country and in Russia. Therefore, it is still difficult to say how the issue will be resolved,” she stressed.

The head of the Fund has added that if the situation allows and the sanatoriums work, then first of all they will send the disabled persons with severe consequences.

Madina Plieva, on behalf of the foundation, expresses gratitude to everyone who helps disabled people, remembers the defenders of the Fatherland and supports them in life to the best of their abilities.
