Over 30 new cases of COVID-19 have been detected in South Ossetia in a day

34 people who were tested the day before in South Ossetia have been diagnosed with coronavirus, Marina Kochieva, head of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee told the IA “Res” on Wednesday.

“On Tuesday, 119 tests were carried out for coronavirus infection, 34 samples showed a positive result,” Kochieva said.

According to her, five people were removed from the medical register in a day, the total number of recovered is 3414 people, 200 people remain under the supervision of doctors.

During the pandemic in South Ossetia, 24,720 tests were carried out for coronavirus infection, the number of infected people is 3,614.

Free vaccination of the population with the Russian drug "Sputnik V" is taking place in the Republic.
