On Monday morning, the troupe of the Kosta Khetagurov South Ossetian State Drama Theater left for Chechnya to participate in the Third All-Russian Festival of National Theaters "Federation".
As reported to IA "Res r" by the artistic director of the theater Tamerlan Dzudtsov,, the opening of the festival has already taken place on Saturday, September 11. The South Ossetian troupe will present "Julius Caesar" (directed by Tamerlan Dzudtsov).
According to the artistic director, the performance will be shown on the stage of the Khanpashi Nuradilov Chechen State Drama Theater. on the evening of September 14.
"People's artists of South Ossetia Wilhelm Khasiev, Soslan Bibilov, Vasily Tekhov, honored artists Soslan Dzhioev, Jean-Jacques Kharebov, Batradz Kumaritov, as well as an actor Eduard Gagloyev are involved in the production," Dzudtsov said.
He has added that within the framework of the festival he also intends to take part in a battle with the director of the Buinsky State Drama Theater Timur Kulov on the theme “National theater in search of an ideal”.
According to the artistic director, a master class by Nina Karpova will also be held during the festival. "Media space as an environment for social interaction" and a round table "Prospects of national theaters at the Russian and international festivals", creative meetings will take place with People's Artist of the Russian Federation Yuri Vasiliev, Honored Artist of Russia, theater and film actress Olga Kabo and others.
In addition to South Ossetia, theaters from Chechnya, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, Tatarstan, Yakutia and others will take part in the festival.
