A group of residents of South Ossetia went for rehabilitation to the sanatorium of Pyatigorsk

A group of the South Ossetian residents who have recovered from COVID-19, have left on Monday morning for Pyatigorsk, where they will undergo rehabilitation in one of the sanatoriums.

Within 2 weeks, residents of the Republic will be improving their health in the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution of the North Caucasus Federal Scientific and Clinical Center of the FMBA of Russia - the Pyatigorsk Clinic, which is located in the resort area at the foot of Mount Mashuk.

The trip was organized by the South Ossetian Ministry of Health on behalf of President Anatoly Bibilov.

“I would like to express my gratitude to the leadership of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia, headed by Veronika Skvortsova, as well as directly to the curator of our project, Agnes Kaisinova. She is helping us to allocate as many places as possible in the sanatoriums so that more residents of the Republic who have suffered. COVID,-19 have the opportunity to undergo rehabilitation,” said Alla Chochieva, Deputy Minister of Health and Social Development of the Republic.

Initially, 13 people were supposed to go for rehabilitation, but due to the fact that some citizens got sick right before the trip, they were forced to refuse.

“I would like to thank the Health Ministry of South Ossetia and our President Anatoly Bibilov for this opportunity. I am very glad that they care about their citizens. I am sure that we will be able to improve our health in the sanatorium, and we will return refreshed, and most importantly healthy and happy,” said one of the participants of the trip.

It should be noted that this is already the 3rd group of citizens who have had a coronavirus infection, and sent for rehabilitation to the Russian sanatoriums.
