The online roundtable was held with the participation of the Prosecutor General's Office of South Ossetia and the Prosecutor General's Office of Russia as part of the implementation of the program of cooperation between the supervisory departments of the two countries for 2020-2021, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of South Ossetia reported.
“The round table in the videoconference mode was organized on the following topics:“ Prosecutor's supervision over the observance of legislation in the social sphere, including the rights and legitimate interests of socially vulnerable categories of citizens (people with disabilities, minors left without parental care, etc.) ”, "Ensuring the rule of law by means of prosecutorial supervision in the digital economy", "Topical issues of prosecutorial supervision over the implementation of laws on the protection of entrepreneurs' rights," the press service said.
They noted that during the event, a discussion had been held on improving cooperation between the prosecutors of the two countries in areas of activity, identifying the main points of interaction, issues and problems for joint solutions.
The participants of the round table noted the usefulness and meaningfulness of the dialogue, it was decided to continue cooperation between the prosecutor's offices of the two countries in the areas of mutual interest.
