The daily growth in cases of coronavirus has increased significantly, for the fourth day in a row, anti-records have been registered in the Republic, more than a hundred cases of daily incidence

In South Ossetia, 171 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in a day, which is 48 cases more than the daily increase registered the day before, South-Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee has reported.

"The PCR laboratory conducted 398 tests, the total number of people infected with coronavirus reached 11,161, of which 10,322 recovered," the Committee told the “Res” news agency.

To date, 839 residents of the Republic are under the supervision of doctors, 20 people have been removed from the medical register.

A sharp increase in new detected cases of coronavirus infection in the Republic is being observed since the beginning of January. In total, during the pandemic, the PCR laboratory of the South-Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee conducted 59,89 tests for COVID-19.
