At the meeting, organized by the Ministry of Economic Development, issues of cooperation with the Leningrad Region in the field of economy, agriculture, youth policy and tourism were discussed.
For each direction, presentations and reports took place, the directions in which this or that department works were identified, and options for cooperation in the designated sectors were discussed.
In the field of youth policy, it was proposed the participation of the youth of the Leningrad region in the forums held on the territory of South Ossetia, and, in turn, the participation of the youth of South Ossetia in the forums held in the Leningrad region: "Alexander Nevsky" and the forum "Ladoga". Our youth will take part in these forums online or live, depending on the epidemiological situation.
Assistant to the Chairman of the Committee for Youth Policy and Sports Valentina Gatikoeva spoke about successful cooperation with the Russian Federation in the field of youth policy, about holding Russian-Ossetian forums, participation of our youth in grant competitions, in the All-Russian Educational Youth Forums "Tavrida", "Eurasia", etc.
It was also proposed to develop a tourist exchange program, student, school, in which the youth of South Ossetia could go on excursions to the Leningrad region, and the youth of the Leningrad region to South Ossetia. During the working trip, Boris Kurtaev also visited the ski slope in the village of Tson and the Leningor district.
