Ministry of Emergency Situations of South Ossetia continues to cooperate to strengthen cooperation with the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation and colleagues from friendly republics, said the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic Azamat Chochiev.
"Within the framework of the Intergovernmental Agreement, a plan of joint activities has been agreed with the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Donetsk People's Republic. In April 2021, together with the specialists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, an assessment was carried out of the readiness of the constructed storage of the state reserve of South Ossetia to receive the relevant material values for storage," he said, speaking at the reporting meeting on the results of the work in 2021.
According to Chochiev, in April last year, a delegation of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of South Ossetia in the DPR took part in the celebrations dedicated to the 160th anniversary of the formation of the DPR fire department.
“On the invitation of the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, a delegation of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of our Republic was sent to Moscow to participate in the XIII International Salon of Security Equipment “Integrated Security - 2021”. Negotiations were also held with the leadership of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia on the issues of increasing monetary allowance and pensions for employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of South Ossetia,” the head of the department emphasized.
Chochiev said that the delegation of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic had taken part in the All-Russian Conference of Rescuers in the Republic of Crimea.
“In December 2021, a delegation of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of South Ossetia took part in the festive events dedicated to the Day of the Rescuer in the DPR, and also signed documents for organizing interdepartmental cooperation, in particular, instructions for interaction and a work plan for the joint commission,” the Minister noted.
