State Secretary - Deputy Defense Minister of South Ossetia Vadim Siukaev took part in the round table "Communication regimes of foreign countries: the policy of friendliness and good neighborliness", held at the discussion platform of the South Ossetian State University with the organization and participation of representatives of the National Research Institute for the Development of Communications (Moscow),
the press service of the Defense Department reported.
During the discussion considerable attention by the participants of the round table was paid to such a factor of communication regimes as information confrontation, including in the military sphere. This topic is especially relevant in the context of a special military operation on the territory of the DPR, LPR, and Ukraine.
Vadim Siukaev noted the role of state media, various Internet resources and social media in covering events, the importance of a prompt response to the nature of hostilities, while maintaining secrecy and metered reporting.
The information about the methods and means of information support for various spheres of life was useful to the participants in the discussion and, in the part related to the military sphere, will be used in the information support of the activities of the national army.
