A meeting took place in Moscow between Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia, Akhsar Dzhioev, and Ambassador of Nicaragua to the Russian Federation (concurrently accredited to the Republic of South Ossetia), Alba Torres Mejía, along with the Embassy staff, the Foreign Ministry’s press service reports.
"The parties discussed bilateral South Ossetian-Nicaraguan relations, which are characterized by a high level of trust and are traditionally friendly in nature, noting the importance of further deepening them," the press service has stated.
The meeting was also attended by Ambassador of South Ossetia to the Republic of Nicaragua and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Narim Kozaev, as well as Advisor to Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, Sergey Tadtaev.
