President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov said in the interview with RIA Novosti that if the Republic joins the Russian Federation, he is ready to work in any proposed position.
Earlier, Bibilov announced his intention to hold a referendum in the Republic on joining the Russian Federation, now consultations are underway with the Russian party. The referendum may take place after April 10.
“We still serve our homeland, is it right? As a military man, I can say where the homeland orders, I will go there to serve. That is, for me there is no such principle that I should be appointed somewhere high, they will tell me where I will be useful, and there I will be working" he said.
According to Bibilov, "the essence is absolutely not in power, because in any case, I will never be in the position of president or head forever, and no one will ever be."
"All positions, as we know, are temporary. Therefore, the essence is not in the position, the essence is still in the future of the people. But there are positions and there will be, and there is nothing wrong with that if the people of South Ossetia unite and the people as a whole will develop, then does my position play a role? - said the head of the Republic.
