In South Ossetia, the collection of assistance to residents of the DPR, the LPR and military personnel participating in the special military operation of Russia continues. At the end of last month, about 20 tons of humanitarian aid were sent from the Republic to Donbass.
As Linda Kumaritova, the wife of the President of the Republic, told the “Res” news agency, the action of collecting aid continues, as the residents of the DPR, LPR and military personnel need support.
"It is difficult for the residents of Donetsk and Lugansk now, they need food, basic necessities, medicines. So, we continue collecting. We are collecting food, medicines - everything necessary for Donetsk and Luhansk residents, and for military personnel," Kumaritova said.
She has noted that the first humanitarian aid, sent at the end of March, reached its destinations, and as they were handed over, everything collected was needed.
“We call on people to unite again and help in whatever way they can,” she said.
The collection continues at the address: Tskhinval, Stalin Street, 19.
