The highest military state award, the Order of "Uatsamonga" in South Ossetia, was posthumously awarded to serviceman Alim Lokhov, who had perished during the special operation in Ukraine. He was buried on Friday with military honors in his family village of Khetagurovo.
The decree on awarding (posthumously) Alim Lokhov with the "Order of Huatsamong" for courage and heroism shown in the performance of military duty was signed by President Anatoly Bibilov.
Alim Lokhov was a serviceman of the 4th Russian military base stationed in South Ossetia, he was performing combat missions as part of the special military operation in Ukraine.
He was 39 years old. Alim has two children left.
