Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia Dmitry Medoev had received Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh David Babayan, who arrived in Tskhinval to participate in the inauguration ceremony of the President of South Ossetia, which will be held on May 24, the press service of the Foreign Ministry reports.
David Babayan is accompanied by Secretary General-Head of Staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh Semyon Afiyan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a range of issues related to bilateral cooperation, problems of regional and international processes, including the situation in the South Caucasus and issues related to regional security and stability.
The ministers expressed satisfaction with the level of bilateral friendly relations, expressing mutual readiness to make efforts to expand and deepen cooperation based on mutual interest and trust.
For the South Ossetian part , the conversation was attended by First Deputy Minister Andrei Tskhovrebov and Head of the Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Taimuraz Dzhidzhoev.
The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
