President Alan Gagloev has met with the delegation of Karachay-Cherkessia Republic, which arrived in Tskhinval to participate in the inauguration ceremony of the elected president, the press service of the head of state reports.
The delegation has included: Deputy Chairman of the Government of the KChR Dzhanibek Suyunov and Minister of Property Relations of the KChR Roman Baskaev.
Greeting the guests, the head of state thanked them for their visit.
“It is gratifying to see that our brothers from neighboring republics find time and support us, they are nearby at the right time. I sincerely thank you and hope that in the future we will be developing our relations,” he said.
For his part, Dzhanibek Suyunov thanked the head of the South Ossetian state for the warm welcome, having stressed that the peoples of the KChR and South Ossetia have always been linked by special relations.
“Our multinational republic appreciates the Ossetian brothers very much. We have a wide representation of Ossetians in government bodies, they are represented everywhere. I think you will find time and visit the Karachay-Cherkessia Republic and see for yourself how Ossetians live there,” he said.
