Servicemen of the Southern Military District demonstrated to the guests of the Forum samples of modern military equipment and small arms that are in service with the base.
Tracked, wheeled military equipment and small arms were presented at the specially prepared exhibition sites, in particular, T-72A tanks, BTR-80 armored personnel carriers, the Tor tactical anti-aircraft missile system, the Tunguska anti-aircraft gun-missile system, 120-mm mortars "Sled", communication stations and other equipment.
Also, military sports games, entertainment venues of cultural, artistic and military patriotic orientation were organized at the Forum, a field kitchen was working.
In total, on the territory of the Southern Military District, the military-technical forum was held at 16 sites of the Patriot military-patriotic parks of 9 regions of the Russian Federation on the territory of the Southern Military District and Russian military bases in Armenia, Abkhazia and South Ossetia from August 19 to 21, 2022.
About 250 samples were presented at the sites for the static display of weapons and military equipment, including 5 aircraft, 27 ships and boats.
