The Defense Ministry of South Ossetia hosted a solemn ceremony of awarding the military personnel of the national army - participants in the "Tank Biathlon" of the International Army Games - 2022.
According to the press service of the Defense Ministry, thanks were announced to the entire team.
It was noted that during the international competition "Tank Biathlon" the South Ossetian servicemen had shown good results, including diligence and the will to win.
In addition, the Defense Minister of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu, rewarded the tankers with medals "For military Cooperation ". The awards were presented to the servicemen during the solemn ceremony.
The activity of the press service of the department, which was promptly covering the participation of the South Ossetia team in the international competition, was also highly appreciated by the command. Commendations were announced to the officers of the service.
