President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev expressed hope that the Russian military special operation in Ukraine will soon be completed.
“I hope that in the very near future both the special operation and all the negative processes that are taking place in the world will be completed, and we will meet more often in different regions of Russia, friendly countries. I think we won't have to wait long,” the head of state has noted during a meeting with delegations from leading universities in Russia and Abkhazia, who arrived in Tskhinval to celebrate the anniversary of the South Ossetia State University.
The head of state expressed gratitude to the guests of the Republic for the attention rendered to the South Ossetian University.
“We all know what processes are taking place in the world today, but you took the time to come and congratulate your colleagues, the people of the Republic on the 90th anniversary of the South Ossetian State University, for which we are very grateful to you,” Gagloev has concluded.
During the event, Alan Gagloev presented the guests of the republic with state awards of South Ossetia, including the Order of Friendship, medals "In commemoration of the 10th anniversary of Victory in the Patriotic War of the People of South Ossetia", certificates of honor, the titles of Honored Artist, etc. were also awarded.
