Representatives of the South Ossetian mass media will take part in the XVI International Media Forum "Dialogue of Cultures" in St. Petersburg. The Forum will be held in the State Hermitage from 23 to 28 October.
The South Ossetian delegation has included journalists from the "Res" news agency and the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company "Ir".
The Forum will bring together young journalists, photographers, documentary filmmakers and bloggers who, in addition to participating in webinars, will create their own reports.
Also, practical conferences will be held for journalists with the participation of leaders and representatives of the leading media in Russia and the post-Soviet space.
Within the framework of the Forum, the traditional International Photo Exhibition “I Live Here” will be held, which will include the works by photojournalists from all over the world, including the "Res" news agency. The purpose of the exhibition is to tell about modern realities and the originality of the way of life in different countries.
In addition, the "Dialogue of Cultures" will host a presentation of cross-border projects created by young representatives of the Eurasian media space, including the project of the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company "Ir" - "Traveling around the World".
For 15 years already, Dialogue of Cultures is one of the largest platforms in Russia, where young journalists from more than 30 countries meet every year. By joining the work of the Media Forum, representatives of the mass media become part of the largest media event: together with colleagues from other countries, they look for answers to modern media challenges, present their cross-border projects aimed at overcoming alienation between representatives of different cultures and confessions, adopt the experience of the masters of world journalism and make new friends in the profession.
