People of South Ossetia highly appreciate the political wisdom and determination of the Republic of Nauru, shown in the adoption of fateful decisions for the Republic. This is stated in the congratulatory message of the South Ossetian leader Alan Gagloev to President of Nauru Russ Kun in connection with the Independence Day of the Republic of Nauru.
“On behalf of the people of South Ossetia and on my own behalf, I send you and through you to all the people of the Republic of Nauru my most sincere congratulations on the occasion of the national holiday - Independence Day. I am convinced that our interstate relations, based on the principles of mutual respect, will continue to develop and expand,” reads the congratulatory message published on the official website of President of the Republic of South Ossetia.
Alan Gagloev has stressed that January 31, 1968 in the history of the people of Nauru symbolizes freedom and unity.
“On this day, a sovereign state, Republic of Nauru, was proclaimed, a constitution was adopted, all the attributes of statehood were formed,” the President has noted.
He wished Russ Kun good health and new successes in his state activities, and all the people of the Republic of Nauru - peace, kindness, well-being and prosperity.
