In Tskhinval, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Foundation "International Institute for the Development of Communications MIR-MOST-OSSETIA" and the Defense Ministry of the Republic of South Ossetia, the subject of which is cooperation in the organization of patriotic education and training of children and youth.
Soslan Bekoev, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the International Institute for the Development of Communications, told the IA “Res” that, within the framework of cooperation, it is planned to provide assistance to the Cadet School under the Defense Ministry of the Republic.
“The Institute for the Development of Communications plans to provide assistance and to our Cadet School, which includes equipping the educational institution with everything necessary to ensure a full-fledged educational process. At the first stage, it is planned to transfer desks, necessary equipment, furniture to the school, and fully equip a computer class, sports and assembly hall,” Bekoev said.
According to him, comprehensive assistance will also be provided to the students and staff of the Cadet School.
"I hope it will be a long, fruitful cooperation with the Defense Ministry of South Ossetia," he has stressed.
Defense Minister Marat Pavlov noted the importance of the signed agreement.
"Today's agreement will allow our friends to organize interaction, help and support for students of the Cadet School of the Defense Ministry," Pavlov said.
It should be noted that in November 2022, with the support of the National Fund for Support of Social Programs of the Russian Federation in the Republic of South Ossetia, was established a non-profit organization, the Foundation "International Institute for the Development of Communications MIR-MOST-OSSETIA".
The objective of the Fund is to promote the strengthening of integration with the Russian Federation, the comprehensive development of humanitarian cooperation between South Ossetia and the Russian Federation, the countries of the EAEU and the CIS, friendly and fraternal peoples.
On February 8, 2023 in Moscow, on the Day of Russian Science, President of the Republic of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev visited the National Research Institute for the Development of Communications NIIRK, where during the event he spoke about the importance of cohesion and unity between the citizens of the Republic and Russia and expressed his readiness to join the implementation of NIIRK projects. Given the importance of projects in the field of intercultural, cross-country communications and scientific diplomacy, the parties signed a Cooperation Agreement.
Thanks to the active civic stand of the leadership of the Republic, the Minister of Defense, and employees of the Fund, it became possible to successfully implement such socially significant projects in South Ossetia. This is the practical result of effective interaction between the authorities and structures of civil society aimed at educating young people and developing the social sphere of the Republic.
