Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin proposed to South Ossetia to increase the export of stone for the Russian construction industry, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation reports.
Mikhail Mishustin inspected the stand of South Ossetia at the Caucasian Investment Exhibition on Wednesday.
It was noted that the Republic paid great attention to the development of natural resources and especially valuable types of stone.
“The rapid growth of construction and, on behalf of the President, the outstripping construction of infrastructure is taking place in almost all regions. I think this is a good basis for increasing exports from the southern republic to Russia, ”the press service is quoting Mikhail Mishustin.
The Russian Prime Minister was told about the development of light industry, alcoholic products and the projects of the Yuzhny Sad Company, which supplied more than 1,000 tons of apples to the Russian market in 2022.
