On June 20, on the stage of the State Drama Theater of South Ossetia, a large-scale performance "Faestag Aevdisaen" ("The Last Witness") based on the play by Alan Ostaev, staged by Tamerlan Dzudtsev, will be shown, the press service of the theater reports.
“The show is dedicated to the Day of Remembrance of the victims of the genocide of the people of South Ossetia. In 1920, June 20, 13 Communards were shot; more than 5,000 Ossetians in South Ossetia became victims of the genocide. The viewer will witness the terrible events inflicted by the Georgian Mensheviks on the Ossetian people back in 1920,” the statement of the press service reads.
The play will be performed with simultaneous translation into Russian.. The performance starts at 18:00.
Tickets can be purchased at the theater box office from 10.00 to 17.00.
