South Ossetian leader Alan Gagloev congratulated President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on the Independence Day of the republic, the press service of the head of state reports.
Gagloev has noted that the significant day of July 3, 1944 is of lasting importance not only for the people of Belarus, but also "for all of us as a heroic page in the history of the struggle against German Nazism for freedom, for the right to live in our native land."
“The Republic of Belarus has achieved impressive success in strengthening statehood and economic development. The firm commitment of Belarus to the union with Russia creates a reliable basis for maintaining stability and overcoming crises on the entire European continent,” the congratulation reads.
Gagloev wished Lukashenko good health, inexhaustible energy, new achievements the implementation of all plans, and the entire Belarusian people - peace, well-being and prosperity.
