In Moscow, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia met with State Advisor to President of South Ossetia

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin met in Moscow with the heads of the delegations of Abkhazia and South Ossetia at the International Geneva Discussions on Security and Stability in Transcaucasia.

According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the meeting was attended by Deputy Foreign Minister of Abkhazia Irakli Tuzhba and State Advisor to President of South Ossetia Konstantin Kochiev, who head national delegations at the International Geneva Discussions on Security and Stability in Transcaucasia .

“An exchange of views took place on topical issues on the agenda of the Geneva format in the context of preparations for the next round of the International Geneva Discussions, which opens in a few days,” the statement of the Russian Foreign Ministry reads

According to the Foreign Ministry, the parties confirmed their intention to continue close coordination in order to further advance common priorities, including a set of issues related to ensuring the lasting security of Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
