The anti-tank mines were discovered in Tskhinval during the construction and installation works along Bush Street, the press service of the South Ossetian Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
"On Monday, the duty unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of South Ossetia received a message that anti-tank mines in the amount of 2 pieces were found during the construction and installation works along Bush Street," the report says.
Later, sappers from Ministry of Emergency Situations of South Ossetia found two more anti-tank mines at the construction site.
The sappers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations left for the place of discovery.
According to the department the ammunition was taken out for subsequent destruction.
