President of the Pridnestrovian-Moldovan Republic Vadim Krasnoselsky met with the heads of the Abkhaz and South Ossetian representative offices Alexander Vataman and Vitaly Yankovsky, the press service of the head of the PMR reports.
After exchanging greetings, they noted the strength of the friendly ties connecting the republics.
“During the meeting, the historical aspects of the creation of young states that experienced difficult trials during the period of gaining independence have been discussed. The meeting participants were talking about the recent events dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the formation of the PMR, as well as the participation of the Pridnestrovian delegations in the celebration of the 15th anniversary of Russia’s recognition of the independence of Abkhazia and South Ossetia,” the press service said.
During the meeting, the parties discussed working aspects of interaction in various areas, talking about the international situation, the importance of dialogue and the desire for a peaceful resolution of any kind of conflict.
It has also been paid attention to economic contacts, cultural and educational exchange, and also outlined plans for further cooperation.
