The consistent policy of the Nicaraguan government, led by Comandante Daniel Ortega, is the key to the dynamic development of the country and contributes to strengthening its position and authority in the foreign policy arena, says the congratulatory message of Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev to his Nicaraguan counterpart Denis Ronaldo Moncada Colindres on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic.
“The adoption of the Act of Independence of Central America on September 15, 1821 marked the realization of the centuries-old dream of the people of Nicaragua for sovereignty and marked the beginning of a difficult but noble path to defend the freedom of their country, protect and strengthen national identity.
Your Excellency, I remember with warmth your recent visit to South Ossetia and, taking advantage of this wonderful opportunity, I express my gratitude for your personal presence and support of the Ossetian people on such a significant holiday for us,” says the text of the message published on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to Dzhioev, with his arrival Moncada once again confirmed the commitment of the courageous Nicaraguan people to the ideals of peace, freedom and solidarity - ideals that were defended by Francisco Miranda, Carlos Fonseca, Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro and, undoubtedly, the great Augusto Cesar Sandino.
“I am convinced that the continuation of joint work will contribute to the further deepening of bilateral friendly and allied relations, the development of multifaceted cooperation for the benefit and interests of our states and peoples,” the Minister has noted.
On the occasion of Independence Day of the Republic of Nicaragua, Akhsar Dzhioev has also sent a congratulatory message to the Ambassador of the Republic of Nicaragua to the Republic of South Ossetia Alba Azucena Torres Mejia.
