President of the Academy of Sciences of Abkhazia, academician, foreign member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Philology of the Russian Academy of Sciences Zurab Dzhapua was awarded the honorary title “Honored Scientist of the Republic of South Ossetia”.
The decree on this was signed by President of the Republic of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev.
The delegation from South Ossetia led by rector of the A. Tibilov South Ossetian State University, Professor Vadim Tedeev, who arrived in Abkhazia to participate in the II International Scientific and Practical Conference “Public Power: Problems of Formation and Functioning”, presented Dzhapua with a badge and the original decree with the signature of President of South Ossetia, Apsnypress reports.
Abkhazia, on September 30, will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of the liberation of Sukhum as well as the Victory and Independence Day.
