In the capital of South Ossetia, a webinar for entrepreneurs is being held at the conference hall of South Ossetian State University. The event is attended by representatives of the authorities, BTK Group, Ironsan Winery, Highland Kel Brewery, Iriston Gardens, etc.
The webinar participants were greeted by Tatyana Andreeva, director of acceleration programs at the REC School of Export.
“Today we are holding a webinar for entrepreneurs of South Ossetia and our experts will tell you how to establish supplies, what regulatory features are, what steps need to be taken so that you and your colleagues can successfully enter the market of the Russian Federation,” - she said.
Andreeva has reminded that in May of this year, President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev and General Director of the Russian Export Center Veronika Nikishina signed a memorandum of understanding.
“Accordingly, the group of the Russian export center is engaged in supporting the export of goods from Russia to South Ossetia, and vice versa. That is, we are ready to establish and develop bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation,” Andreeva clarified.
She has also noted that relations between the two states have been established long enough.
“We are happy and ready to develop trade and economic cooperation in all areas that will be of interest to entrepreneurs and representatives of other organizations and structures of our states,” she added.
One of the speakers of the webinar, Trade Representative of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation, Taimuraz Goginov, expressed gratitude to the organizers of the event “for the first step towards the plans.”
“The first steps are always not easy to take, and I hope that they will be useful for both the Russian Federation and South Ossetia, for our trade relations,” Goginov said. “I hope that today’s event will give impetus to some enterprise, and new export positions will appear in the Republic.”
During the event, there will also be a discussion on such topics as the development of long-term cooperation between the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation, the regime for trade in goods with South Ossetia, delivery of goods (logistics), customs clearance, and features of concluding a foreign trade contract.
