More than a hundred scientists from Russia, South Ossetia and Abkhazia were united by the international conference “Between North and South: the Caucasus as a link of civilizations” at the North Caucasus Federal University.
According to the press service of the South Ossetian State University, South Ossetia was represented at the event by the South Ossetian State University scientists - professor, head of the department of political science and sociology Inal Sanakoev and senior lecturer of the department of political science and sociology Lina Kulumbegova.
The international conference was held in five thematic sessions dedicated to current issues of the Caucasus in the changing global geopolitical context. Each session provided a platform for participants to discuss and analyze the current situation and propose constructive solutions to improve cooperation.
