Two pupils of the South Ossetian chess school “White Ladya” became the winner and prize-winner in the International inter-club online tournament “Batalla por la paz”, President of the Chess Federation of the Republic Georgy Shavlokhov told IA “Res ”.
According to him, Anna Tibilova took first place in the individual competition among girls.
“In addition, in the individual competition, Vadim Kelekhsaev took second place among two hundred and one participants. They both showed very good results,” Shavlokhov said.
He noted that the participants in the tournament were players from Russia and Latin American countries.
The game was played in both individual and team competitions. According to President of the Federation, the South Ossetian youth national chess team also participated in the tournament.
