South Ossetian President Alan Gagloev awarded Defender of the Fatherland medals to the fighters of the “Alania ” volunteer battalion Ragim Kokoev and Alexey Tigiev, the press service of the head of state reported on Thursday.
The awards were given to the fighters for their courage and bravery shown during the special military operation.
During the meeting, the President wished the fighters good luck, strength and health.
“Know that we are always worried about you and are waiting for you to return home safe and healthy. Thank you very much for such difficult service,” said Alan Gagloev.
