President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev has met with the delegation of Russian investors led by the founder of the Stroyprogress group of companies Albert Dzhussoev, who arrived in Tskhinval on a working visit.
“Albert Alexandrovich, almost from the first days when difficult times began, has been providing invaluable assistance and support to his compatriots, to his Motherland. Today you have come to your small homeland with a pleasant and noble mission. We have discussed a number of investment projects that we will be implementing together,” the head of state has noted.
The President expressed gratitude to Albert Dzhussoev for his constant attention to the Republic and informed about the upcoming joint investment projects.
Albert Dzhussoev also thanked the President for the invitation, having emphasized that South Ossetia has good potential in energy and industry.
"I have not been in the republic for 16 years. Thank you for the invitation. There are extraordinary beauties here, tourism will bring income. I really want my small homeland to flourish. The era of prosperity should come after the war," Dzhussoev said.
The delegation of Russian investors arrived in South Ossetia on Thursday on a two-day working visit.
The delegation has also included Albert Pukhaev, Ernest Manakov, former Prime Minister of South Ossetia Yuri Morozov (2005-2008), Igor Migalin, Felix Tsarikaev, Felix Chochiev and the commander of the Alania volunteer battalion Ruslan Ostaev (Skif).
On Thursday, Chairman of the government of the Republic, Konstantin Dzhussoev, together with the Russian investors laid flowers at the memorial complex to Defenders of the Fatherland in the center of Tskhinval.
