South Ossetia honored the memory of the citizens perished in Belgium during the Second World War

On May 9, Plenipotentiary representative of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia in the Benelux countries, Radion Pukhaev, took part in the ceremony of laying wreaths and flowers at the monument to the Soviet citizens, fallen in Belgium during the Second World War.

According to the press service of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia, the event took place in the Brussels commune of Ever.

“The ceremony at the central capital’s cemetery was attended by Russian Ambassador to Belgium Alexander Tokovinin, Acting Permanent Representative of Russia to the European Union Kirill Logvinov, and the heads of diplomatic missions of the CIS countries,” the statement of the press service reads.
