The leadership of the Republic, headed by President Alan Gagloev, Speaker of Parliament Alan Margiev, representatives of law enforcement agencies, colleagues, friends and relatives of the deceased came to see off the fighter on his final journey.
Rustam's loved ones remembered him as a brave and reliable person, loyal and responsible.
“Rustam grew up as a modest, brave, responsible person. He did not have time to enjoy life on earth, to which he devoted himself completely. He didn’t have time to enjoy his family, his small kids, he passed away very young,” it was said at the funeral.
It was also noted that Tabuev was a defender of South Ossetia during the 2008 war, and then decided to fight for peace and justice in the special military operation zone.
By the decree of the head of state, Rustam Tabuev was awarded the Medal “Defender of the Fatherland”.
Two young children were left without a father.
