The 4th year student, majoring in History. History of International Relations" of the South Ossetian State University Roman Gobozov took part in the work of the Alexander Nevsky Leningrad Youth Forum in Gatchina, the press service of the university reports.
“The Forum has become a platform for immersion in the atmosphere that preserves the memory of heroes and remember their exploits. The Forum participants had the opportunity, for their part, to present stories about the heroic exploits of their ancestors,” the press service said in a statement.
The Forum program has included: night-time commemorative events dedicated to the start of the Great Patriotic War, the “Fiery Pictures of War” event, interactive programs: the quest “Gatchina - the City of Military Glory” and a game on the ground, a visit to the Memorial complex to civilians of the USSR died during the WWII, as well as to the Monument to the Heroic Defenders of Leningrad.
The Forum was organized by the Leningrad Region Youth Policy Committee and the state budgetary institution of the Leningrad Region “Volunteer Resource Center”.
Roman Gobozov's trip to the Forum has become possible thanks to the assistance of the Russian Embassy in the Republic of South Ossetia.
